These babies were hatched in a nest in the eve of a two-story house.  They took a wrong turn and ended up in the attic.  Vee found the birds and they were in good shape so they were warmed up, fed and put back in the nest.
Two days later they were in the attic again.   This time they didn't look so good, they hadn't been fed, were badly dehydrated and cold as ice.   The one on the right responded well to treatment but the one on the left was almost too far gone.  Even with 24-hour care we almost lost her several times over the next few days.   She finally caught up and began eating on her own but by the time she had her strength back her Mom was gone.
They are flying fairly well now and exercising in the outdoor aviary and should be able to be released as soon as they improve their hunting skills.

Below is a couple of before pics of them when they came in the second time.
