This is "Bubba"   Even before his eyes opened, Bubba fell approximately 25 feet and was then carried around by a Retriever for some time.  He suffered a broken wing and damage to his legs.  He is recovering nicely.  Bubba is an extremely large bird for his age.

This bird was swept up in a store and disposed with the floor sweepings in a dumpster.  A child heard it crying and her Mother brought it here.  It was encrusted with some type of  black compound, its entire mouth was so black you couldn't see any yellow.  It also suffered leg injuries and was scraped and bruised all over.

These babies were found under a cat cage, the people who owned the yard observed them for a day and when the parents never came to feed them they were removed from the yard.

All the baby Starlings on this page are being raised for release.
All are here due to abandonment or Injuries and some cases both.
One is here due to man's inhumanity to other living creatures.

This one was retrieved from a busy highway where it was being rolled down the road from cars passing over it.
